SHORT HISTORY
Born in Niagara Falls N.Y. in 1964......Started painting in 1988 and did so on and off up until a few years ago when started producing small sculpture
Over the past 20 years i have bought and sold Mid Century modern design, anything from furniture to artwork and over these past years i have discovered that at my center i am a modernist. I understand and appreciate clean simple lines . I have always been drawn to the unusual in form weather it be a building or an insect..Good design is everywhere but it took me years of working with it to truly understand it..
No piece is pre-planed.. Everything starts the same... I try and see the form in the object itself prior to building it up...Sometimes the shape will start the direction but the hardest part in building theses object is not seeing them but to listen, listing to the voice inside ultimately leads me to make the choices that i do.
Now.. why do i make them small.. that answer is easy.. Objects in the end want to be owned so i make them small so that they will always find a place in your home... Art doesn't have to be at the center of the living environment it can be hidden , to be discovered at an unexpected moment..
